Omar’s Science Tuition trading as Omars Tuition is a limited company registered in England, providing high quality science tuition. (Company Number: 15370169).

In order to fulfil my services, I process personal information, including details of:​

• Students
• Parents of students
• Enquirers (those interested in my services)

I collect data to enable me to process enquiries and transactions with my customers and students, in accordance with their contract with me and in compliance with the law.

What personal data do I collect from you?

I collect data I need to be able to process your requests and enquiries about my services, and to provide you with the services you have asked me to provide. I also receive, collect and store any information you enter on my website.

I use software tools to measure and collect session information, including page response times, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information, and methods used to browse away from the page.

I may collect the following personal data:

• Personal and contact information, which may include your full name and date of birth, your email address, postal address and phone number. NB In the case of a child (under 18), these details are of a parent or guardian
• Microsoft Team Username and Email
• Zoom authentication login email address
• Examinations, homework, classwork and grades
• Photographs, video and audio footage (I will always notify you if you or your child are likely to appear in a photograph or promotional video
• Bank transactions specific to the payment of Omar’s Tuition
• Any other information you choose to give me

• It will be used to process your enquiries and to enter into a tuition agreement if you wish to register for regular lessons
• I will use your email address to send you invoices, and information about upcoming events
• You will also receive SMS invoicing reminders and additional information relating to tuition or education
• In some exceptional circumstances, if there is a need to discuss anything related to you or your child’s Science tuition, I may need to contact you on your telephone number

Right to information and access

You have right to request a copy of the personal data I hold about you and to check that I am lawfully processing it.

Right to rectification

You have the right to request correction of your personal data. This enables you to have any incomplete or inaccurate data I hold about you corrected, though I may need to verify the accuracy of the new data you provide to me.

Right to erasure and restriction

You have the right to ask me to limit or cease or delete your personal data where there is no good reason for me continuing to process it, for example where you consider that I do not need it any longer for purposes for which I originally collected it, as explained to you in this Privacy Policy. When responding to such requests, I will tell you how such restrictions or deletions may affect my ability to fulfil my contracts with you or otherwise affect your interests.

Right to object

You have the right to object where I am using your personal data for direct marketing purposes. You can also ask me to stop using your information, where I am processing it on the basis of legitimate interest. In some cases I may demonstrate that I have compelling legitimate grounds to continue processing your information.

Right to withdraw consent

If you have given me consent to process your personal data, you have the right to withdraw it at any time.
